Very Nice................... ;D
Hello Glassman,
Your Pinto looks more like Indian Turquoise than Green?
Very interisting color.
Looks great TOO!
From Pintony
Glassman.......Serious nice color!!!!!!! I as well am at the position in this project where I am thinking about a color. And being a Pinto I think it fitting to choose an interesting color as opposed to some regular one. I was thinking white. Then I saw a new Impala with Like a light grey which seamed snazzy. But!!!!!!!! The color that just keeps nagging away at me is a firebreathing, vicious, deep tittynipple pink. I need input. My justification is that no car collection is complete without a pink car. Should I be the Pink car? And please no ferry responces.

High Horse, when I was in college, there was a guy in my class that had a pink 74 Datsun Low rider pickup. While at first I thought it was ugly due to the color choice but I must admit it grew on me. The more I saw it, the more I liked it. I have always been a fan of odd colors, go for it ;D
How about that Metalic Pink that I used to see on the Cadilac in the early-mid 80"s
Or Pink up to the main or lower body lines and silver on top????
From Pintony
Or silver W/ metalic Pink ghost flames YESSSSS!
I am going to get with that color people and check out Pinks. Someones got to have a Pink one and it may as well be me. So what about the interior? Gray with pink trim? I am going to do the interior myself. Oh!!!! And although I like the ghost flame thing, I planned to put the High_Horse head silouette on the car. That might look good done in the ghost configuration.
Hey H.H.
I like your idea.

Hey Glassman,I believe your wagon color is the twin to my 78 2dr. pinto sedan, as well as my 78 cougar xr7. I bought my pinto new and I believe they called it medium jade. it's a color you either like or you don't, since I own 2 cars that color,I think it's the best! very sharp wagon! ;)
Thanks everyone. Its shiney but, it is a little rough. Some small dents and scratches. Plus dried compound (wax?) in all the nooks and crannies. The color is starting to really grow on me. I think I'll repaint it the same color. Which by the way is..... I forget. I looked up the code and that medium jade that sky has sounds familar.
High Horse, whenever I see pink I think RUST. I like pink on very few cars. I would have to see a Pink Pinto to decide whether I like it or not. ???

looking good Pete! I kinda like the colour too!
Thanks Jeff.
I've been thing about painting the grille body color. Watcha think?
Glassman, nice wheels! And you even got paint to match the interior. I thought I was the last person on earth who still knew about the feet for the gas pedal and dimmer 8)! High Horse, go with Panther Pink, a Mopar color from 1970, also called Moulan Rouge. I have been strictly forbidden to apply that particular hue to a daily driven vehicle but I LOVE that color.
Hey, nice Hippie pedals............... 8)

That is the exact color I got for my car. Now I just have to decide on a stripe. ???
Gearhead440, OK!!!Cool!!!! Now we are getting somewhere. Got it. Panther Pink--1970 Mopar.
Mr.Pinto!! Are you serious?????I mean about the color not the stripe.....I like stripes.
But if you use that color I should use a different pink.....Right???

Glassman.....I say paint the grill, although, I think it would be just as good lookin either way.

The FM3 Panther Pink was one of the first things I decided in building my car. Pink everywhere! All the chrome, bumpers, grille. Everything cept the lights and glass! LOL I wanted something real different. And I was thinking of a flat black stripe to set it off.
And hey, you should do yours pink too! It's a real sweet color. Especially with the flat black to set it off.

Here's a whole site devoted to the color.

Also, this is a pic of PintoJoeII's Pinto ( I hope he doesn't mind.) that I altered the color to show how great a Pinto will look this color.

MrPinto, could you possibly work some color magic on pinto sedan (side preferred) to see what it would look like in Sub Lime Green (FJ5)? I'm fence sitting on this one. The factory color on my 80 Pnito is very close to EV2 Tor Red (Hemi Orange) but it needs a paint job anyway. If you have a pic or could alter one I would be most appreciative ;D. I'm enclosing pics of each color. High Horse, I enclosed a couple of pics in your Thunder Pinto II thread for your Panther Pink viewing enjoyment. It might not be pink enough for you but at least it will be a starting point.
I'm no crackshot computer geek by any means HAHA!,So this is the best I could do.
(Oh and sorry about the junk poo poo wagon. It was the best pic of a 79 80 wagon I could find.)
