Hello all Pinto lovers!
Just an fyi about this place in Arizona you might not know about (not sure if this business was ever mentioned on fordpinto.com.) 

His name is Bill Basore. He owns Desert Classic Parts and develops reproduction parts and other products for the automotive market. If you have ever wanted to explore commissioning a reproduction part, he can walk you through the process.

(In my conversation with Bill, he informed me that the Mustang II notchback and my 1978 Pinto have the same gas tank and use the same sending unit.  He informed me that Autozone can order it:
Spectra Premium Fuel Tank Sending Unit FG179B
