Title: need some help

I am refinishing a gt40 kit car. the car had a ford 2.0 pinto engine although i am not sure of the year. my problem is its missing the carb. and due to clearance i am told that it needs sidedraft webers that have to be imported from australia.. if anybody knows anytruth to this or where i can find them please let me know

You can buy new weber carbs from a company called EMPI. Yes, it's the place that makes all the VW stuff. Your choices are 40 DCOE or 45 DCOE. They also have all the different jets for the 5200 pinto carbs.  Esslinger Engineering also sells the carbs as well as the manifold but they mark the stuff up pretty good.

id say try esslinger first. they have awesome products. i get parts from them all the time.

I have a complete sidedraft 2x 40 DCOE setup for the ford 2000CC ohc engine.
Complete with Carbs Horns Manifold and Billet K&N aircleaners + the complete linkage setup.

I'll take 1000.00 o.b.o. for everything.
NO, I will not seperate these items.
