??? ???
I'm new on working with small ford engines. Dose anyone know how i can tell the difrence between A 2.0L AND A 2.3L ???????????????????????????????
From an old Esslinger catalog.
2.3: Smooth rocker cover, 4 cam towers, hydraulic lifters (lash adjusters), distributor located 5 inches from front of block.
2.0: Stamped ribs in rocker cover, 3 cam towers, solid lash adjusters, distributor located 1.25 inches from front of block.
Hope this helps.
The 2.0 also will have "2.0" cast on the block on the lower right side.
