I'm new on working with small ford engines. Dose anyone know how i can tell the difrence between A 2.0L AND A 2.3L ???????????????????????????????

From an old Esslinger catalog.

2.3:  Smooth rocker cover, 4 cam towers, hydraulic lifters (lash adjusters), distributor located 5 inches from front of block.

2.0:  Stamped ribs in rocker cover, 3 cam towers, solid lash adjusters, distributor located 1.25 inches from front of block.

The 2.0 also will have "2.0" cast on the block on the lower right side.
