Day 1: Monday July 8th- Lincoln, Nebraska- North Platte, NebraskaSpeedway Motors Museum. They are giving us a private tour and opening early for us.Pioneer Village, Kearney Nebraska The Lincoln Highway.Arrive in North Platte, for dinner and check into the Hotel Day 2: Tuesday July 9th-North Platte, Nebraska-Hot Springs, South DakotaVisit a Pony Express Station and Museum in North Platte.Travel to and see Car Henge, the best Henge of all, there is no Henge like this one!Day 3: Wednesday July 10th - Hot Springs, South Dakota- Wall, South DakotaTravel on the US16A Scenic Byway, which is similar to the Tail of the Dragon.Visit Mount Rushmore, South Dakota Air and Space Museum Head out to Wall South Dakota and Wall Drug. Day 4: Thursday July 11th - Wall South Dakota - Mitchell South DakotaDelta 09 Missile Silo, check out a relic of the cold war A Minuteman Missile silo.
Then head down the Badlands Scenic Byway, another amazing road with winding turns and some of the most amazing rock formations that appear out of nowhere and seem from a distant planet. visit the Minuteman Missile Visitors Center for more relics of the cold warThen on to Mitchell South Dakota, Day 5: Friday July 12th - Mitchell, South DakotaThe Discovery Museum, dedicated to life on the plains. The Telstar Shelby Cobra Museum, actually everything Ford and Mercury. (private tour scheduled)Then its the Guns of History Museum, See Native American Guns from Battles such as Little Big Horn and Wounded Knee, used by the likes of Custer, Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull. Then it's off to the world's only Corn Palace for a Car Show in the Stampede's honor. Our grand finally where we will present our Pinto's to the town of Mitchell and say our goodbye's.
