Hi Pinto Fans: The 9th Annual Fun Ford Sunday Car Show will be held on September 11th, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. It is held at the Solano County Fairgrounds (across from Six Flags Marine World) . This is in Northern California in the San Francisco Bay area. It is a "FORD ONLY" show with 28 non-judged classes. I plan on taking my 71 Pinto and it would be great if other Pintos could also show up. Detailed info can be found at www.funfordsunday.com. If interested, email me or call at (408) 779-7442. It would be great to meet other Bay Area enthusiasts. Regards, Joe
I drove by that last Friday on my way to the Sonoma area. Look like fun but you would not get me on the roller coasters................. :'(
i will be there but my car is not finished. but my buddy mike and his boss pinto will be there. redmustangman3 come find us so or we will keep an eye out for you we can keep the pintos together.
Skrach: Sounds good- will look for you and the Boss Pinto. Joe
Brad I'm with you on some of those roller coasters. My daughter talked me into going on one of them and I thought I'd never make it back to earth in one piece. Are you related to a "Gordon Fagan" ?? I bought his 289 Pinto in March of 2004. He did a super job on the V8 installation and associated drivetrain. If so, let me know and I'll send photos of what it looks like today. Regards, Joe

No, I can not make the show. Sorry
I live right up the street from this. my car isn't registered currently so I don't think I'll be able to bring it. but I wanna come and check this event out.
this event was pretty nice.. but im sick of seeing mustangs lol. 2 pintos in the show. mike streets pinto boss, and joe's (i didnt catch his last name) pro street V8 pinto. very nice alot of great reactions.
Skrach is right on- a great show of Fords- + 400. Too many Mustangs but the Falcons, Galexies and other rare Fords were pretty cool. And then there were 2 Pintos!! Mike Streats brought his beauitiful 72 "Boss" Pinto along with co-pilot Doug (Skrach). A very well done restoration which drew a lot of attention. I brought my 71 V8 Pinto ( Joe Hendrickson) which also drew a lot of attention. Hopefully next year we can have a few more Pintos in attendance. I have attached 3 photos; Mike with his green Boss; Doug (black t-shirt) with my 71 and Joe with the 71. Enjoy and come on out next year for a great car show.
