Has anyone removed the rag joint and put in a u-joint? If you have can you please pot some pictures

I've done several with no problem's. If you buy a u-joint, make sure its one that has a thru bolt on each end to tighten it onto the shafts. Otherwise you could end up with one that needs to be welded to the shaft. You'll love the way the steering feels afterwards. Got my u-joint off of E-gay. Sorry but no pictures.

No cutting but a very small amount of grinding maybe.

After you remove the rag joint, the shaft will slide down and out as it fits inside a even larger shaft shaped housing under the dash. May need to help it slide out (bfh). Not hard to do and much easyer than doing it in the car.
