Hey Pintony,  what do you think that turbo pinto is worth and where do you think the bidding will get to?

Also is there anybody close to the car in Oregon to go check it out in person.  Looks like a fun car.

Thanks

Mason, I have seen it in person.
It appears to have been a very nice car in its day.
I have not heard it run, no one around when I am out that way.
The seller has many wrecked and rebuilt autos out there with it for sale.
I have tried a few times to hear it run and maybe drive it but the for sale
sign in the window has pushed me away from it, he is asking $5,000 for it.
I would say overall the car is about in the middle of the road, not great but not trashed.
Remember before bidding I HAVE NOT heard it run or seen it move.

I looked at the carb hat for the turbo and the only worry I can see is keeping it sealed
to the carb, looks to be held down in the same fashion as a standard air cleaner.

Thank you econoaddict.

I understand the work that went into the car but 5000.00 for a Pinto is too much.

I am sure I can put one together for less than that myself and i won't have to pay shipping.

Again thanks.

Mason,
I agree and am doing exactly that.
I got lucky, my pinto cost me nothing (bad trans) so far I have a nice donor turbo coupe and put rear tires on it. I have a total so far of $620 invested.
