I inherited a kit car built on a Pinto chassis. There is no vin# or manufacturing plate . I know it is a 2.0 4cyl and believe it to be a ' 72 or '73 Pinto. Is there any way to determine the exact year? It has disc brakes on the front and does not have a booster brake system.
Any advice? Thanks
On the 2000 the partial vin is stamped on the rear of the block that should tell you the year the motor, not sure on the body
If the vale cover still has the sticker that shows engine timing info and idle rpm information it will show what year the engine was used in , if it was not repainted , next would be a tag on the carberator , post a photo of the engine so we can make sure we can ID it ,
