What diff are you looking for?   What model car do you have?   Is it safe to assume it is a Pinto?   

The easiest (bolt-in) is an 8" from a 75-79 pinto w/ V6.   I've heard that MustangII, Comet, Maverick, and Falcon diffs will fit.

I'll check this thread tonight; if no one has repsonded with a measurement, I'll get under the pinto & post the measurement.

Sorry for the delay...too many long days @ work.

At any rate, I measured mine at 51"+/-2"

That should get you in the ball park.

Im pretty sure the 8 inch is about 52 inches and the 59 wagon 9 inch is 53 inches.
