this picture was sent to me by Missplymouth to resize and post for her. She is new to computers and is having a hard time with it. I will post what the car has when she emails me back. She wanted her email address displayed as well so here it is missplymouth@aol.com
this was sent to me by email:
Hi Jeff - thanks - for the help - yes it is a '79 2300 with 145,00 miles, new clutch and main seal basically and in the shop (now for replacement of original heater hoses and the heater core) (groan). My mom purchased it new and it was mfrd in the Linden Plant here in NJ - we found the tag when the seats came out to do the clutch 3 years ago...it was good assurance to find that the floor was sound. She was the car that replaced her '66 stang both pony cars, manual tranny - like my ma said - "I am too old a lady to learn automatic..."all her cars were manual...until the day she passed the little red on to me.
I guess I could have cheated and repositioned the car to the best door side for the picture but my photo friend wasn't fussy...and the longer I look at the ratty doors (the good one never aligns correct)the more incentive I have to make her better.
It would be nice to find more people in NJ so perhaps we could go on a little Pinto cruise...(pretend to terrorize some other cars).
Thanks for your help.
Becky
