Final panel fit before hitting the paint booth, Pinto panel gaps are not the best from the factory I find out.

Thanks all for the kind words, I'ts been a long fun road and for the most part I'm pleased with the outcome. As for the hood Reeves1 at this point I'm not yet pleased with how it stops so flat at the back cowl area, but I have a plan that should fix that and still allow the hood to open enough. The picture I post is a  cardboard mock-up. Bottom pic is how it is now.

Got a good start on the hood up grade that I feel I will be pleased with. Just had to make it better!

And the paint was-a-flying!!!  so happy to have the hot rod painted, still alot of work to do putting all the pc's together again.

Started to install parts, all chrome or aluminum parts are now satin black.

Drove the hot rod out of the shop under it's own power this morning for the first time. After 5 years of building it was a great feeling to say the least.Windshie LED goes in Friday, alignment on Monday. Still a lot of small adjustments needed

Really, really love your wagon, looks great! And fantastic to hear it is under its own power, these cars should be alive, not just be sculptures.
It scares the hell out of me having my donkey down for major surgery, hope it can be brought back to life in not to much time.

Ever so close,black bumper filler panel, passenger window and new seals in(that's a pain) and enough run time to check valve lash. Should have it aliened this week and on the road it will be!!!

We all like to know if your medical insurance covers any surgery to remove the oversized smile you have after you drive this bad butt looking pinto wagon, just wondering  :o .
