My 1980 Runabout barn car
The back looks different than most sedans I've seen. Was it a hatchback originally?
I couldn't agree with you more. I have a 77 sedan parts car, and a 80 Runabout that is replacing the rusted sedan, but prefer the look of the sedans.
My '77 Cursing Wagon. 2.8 V-6 w/auto. Not in too bad a shape but far from perfect.
Hi there!
I just logged in to this site for the first time, thought it might be a good idea to introduce my 72 Wagon, that managed to get itself exported all the way to the Netherlands!
It's in a bit of a sorry state, had a hard life I imagine, an original 4-speed, converted (badly) to auto.
I'm planning on slowly updating and repairing this car, hope to post more in the future.
Here she is. I painted this car from white to a medium green metallic with gray metallic two tone. Some of the other bits have been painted the gray metallic also (mirrors, front head light trim pieces that used to be chrome (mine were badly pitted)). I have a whole album that can be viewed at: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10101069276907414.1073741825.11309625&type=1&l=32bb0d2d46 (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10101069276907414.1073741825.11309625&type=1&l=32bb0d2d46)
I did the final wet sand today, and will hopefully very shortly be doing the final polish out of the paint. Once I tackle that it'll be on to the engine upgrades I'd like to do. I want this to be capable enough to be a daily driver should I need it to be. I have a rebuilt head with a ranger roller, swirl polish valves, ACE adapter for the stock manifold with an autolite 2150 carb and open element air cleaner. I'm also planning on using a ranger header with 2" exhaust.

Hey Bud! She Looks great off the rotisserie and ready to strike! She has her wheels on her and is out of the shop since the last time I saw her, she's looking sweet!!
Thanks Scott, sadly got it running just as the weather turned cold so still have not had the chance to drive it yet. So now it's on to body work and hope to have it painted by spring. I just have to keep eating my elephant one bolt at a time!

Hi Kim!
Good to see you and thanks for posting a picture of your stacked Pintos! Merry Christmas!
Dwayne :)
hey all, nice cars posted up, here is a pic of ours on its first day of running after the build 2 years ago. have no good recent pics since then. cheers
Wow! I live in a small town in Oregon, and have been the butt of a lot jokes because of my Pintos. Everyone in town knows where I am all the time. I own 4; '71 hatch road racer, '75 V6 hatch daily driver, '76 sedan that needs a lot of work and an '80 sedan shell. I knew there were a few of you obsessed like I am, but, this post shows me more than I had imagined. I visit the site almost daily, but, don't post that often. The stacked Pintos has blown me away.
I am in England and gone blinkin pinto crazy, :-\ i have got 7 of the little buggers and i dont know of anyone else that has one over here except a late pinto cruizin wagon that is a rusty old car thats been here since 81,

Here are mine. Ruby RedHot is the Little Car That Could- And Did. She took me from Sunny SoCal (Oceanside) to Denver-then from there to Carlisle, PA on the inaugural Pinto Stampede- then on to Virginia, then back to Oceanside. She wasn't in the best shape, but she had just turned 40 that late Spring of 2011. The blue one is Moxie BluBelle, who currently needs a clutch kit and cable. Still, when she goes, SHE GOES! Good power even in 4th gear! She needs a complete restoration due to a previous owner's gross neglect. The copper one is Wildfirew, so named because her paint, though badly crackled, has a "fire" in it.
mine and my brother's in Louisville!
