Title: cam choise

I have a 2.3 that is punched 30 over head has been decked 80 thousands has a short ram ensliger intake 500cfm holley 2brrl and long tube header.  It has a cam in it now that is no good for the street i want something that had good bottom end power.  Any help would be great

ATX or MTX? You got too much carb for bottom end. 350 better. When you start getting bottom end you may get pinging as well with that head cut. Too much squeeze unless you like running the most expensive gas. Look for cam with under 220 degrees intake at .050" lift. As much lift as you can get with that.

I agree with AMC 49. And perhaps a cam with more overlap to bleed of some of the cylinder pressure.

hi,  this might help.

i have had 3 cams ground here and as long as your bump stick is in fair condition, this could save you money and get exactly what you need.

send geoff an email with what you are needing and what you have done to your motor.

check the profiles page and see if there is one there ready to go.
