Post by: Stuwil on August 21, 2014, 09:15:26 PM
does anyone know or has anyone ever tried to replace the 23/32 wheel cylinder with the 7/8 unit?
they are so close in dimension can't see the harm in going to the larger cyl.
input please

The 7/8" cylinder mounting bolts are bigger than for the 23/32" cylinder.  Might be able to use with bigger bolts and modified backing plate, but have not tried.

The 7/8" cylinders have a 32.5% greater volume than the 23/32" cylinders. That equates to a substantial difference in pedal travel and feel.
