???
what rear end would be the esiest to replace the 6.75 in our 73 pinto mini stock? been told that 7.5, the 8" and then the 8.8..
any help will appreciated...thanks guys...
Use a mustang II 8".
I hate to assume but i will in this case.
out of a v-6 mustang ll
actually, if you can find a M2 cobra it "should" have a 3:55 gear in it. either way Its best to have a reference code with you so you can check the tag on the Diff and know what gear you are getting. V6 or V8 will work.
I put a Mustang II (V6) 8" in my 73 stock sedan (which is now a 71) and it fit right in without any problems at all. Nice tight suspension! Way better, for me, than the stock pinto rear end.
I think the only issue I had was that I did not consider the brake line which ran along the back of the pumpkin and it rubbed on the gas tank shield. Didn't know it til I lost my brakes :o. Fixed that right away!
