so my car came with an automatic was wondering how costly it would be to swap it out for a four speed. nothing wrong with my automatic but I plan on putting a t-5 in it when I put the 302 in it so figured it would be easier to already have to pedal setup and every thing it in already. the car has a 2.8 v-6 in it just wondering if anyone had done this

also does any one know where I can get like a three in reverse cowl induction hood im not looking to get one right now but in the near future
I'm in the process of doing this to my 76 wagon. I got a set of pedals from a 74-up Pinto & they bolted right in. The clutch cable hole is already in the firewall. Swap in the bellhousing, clutch & trans. & that's it. T5 shifter requires a minor cut on the tunnel for the new shifter location. The cable needs a small home made bracket to move the cable an inch to the side. T5 or C4 yoke fit with the stock driveshaft. The neutral start switch must be bypassed & the backup lights need connected.

I did the pedal swap in my 77 pinto from a 80 Bobcat FYI install the clutch pedal first then the brake parts all bolted in no issues clutch line goes threw top left right next to steering callim that's the hard part not bad tho.
