hey y'all was just wondering if anyone knew what bulbs were in the instrument cluster of a 76 pinto. I was looking to change it to led, but I don't want to pull it apart twice to do it.
Like #168 as far as physical size...........
I don't have a size but I bought a led kit for a late 60's early 70's mustang from mustangs and fast fords in so.calif. Has the green, red and blue tint glow for speedo. I think they sell them separate as well.
Ok thanks y'all all help is appreciated!
Also the LEDs are direct fit in the dash socket

As I found out the hard way, LEDs do not dim with the light rheostat. It takes special circuitry to do it. I would suggest replacing all lights that you don't ever want dimmed, like turn signal, high beam, and engine warning lights. Illumination lights I am keeping regular bulbs.
thanks y'all tried to pull it apart this weekend and I couldn't get the speedometer cable off it so I just gave up not worth breaking it
