Not content with ruining just one major concours a year, we've expanded. We are now a thorn in the side of 4 major events. 3 in the good ole US of A and one in Sunny Ole England.... and we'd like YOU and your Pinto to come out and have a good time with us. Participation and Spectating are FREE (so you get exactly what you pay for). Come ready to have a good time and you'll find one.

My 76 Runabout (the bright yellow V6 car from the 2014 Stampede) is entered. It looks like I'll be entered in the OPEC I, 1970-77 category. I'd love to receive the award for "Most Dangerous".
I'm going to play along with all the Pinto stereotypes. I have the flammable decals and warning stickers. I'll have my fire extinguishers at the ready. I'll pass out "Atomic fireballs" in an effort to bribe the judges and spectators.
It's just a way to poke fun at the St. John Concours d'Elegance that is taking place across the road.
By the way, the old Ford plant where this is taking place is also where the off-site public parking for the real concours is staged. I'm sure a number of snooty, Grey Poupon eating, "stick-in-the-butt" concourse attendees will NOT approve of Pintos, Vegas, AMC's, and old import beaters.
They asked me to provide a photo to enter (but if you are local just show up, It's free to enter). Nothing says safety like a baby in the back of a Pinto...
Good luck! I hope the bribes work!
Dwayne :)
I am going with another D'Lemon I own... not the Pinto.
Rob in Cleveland
I was invited over to Fox 2 Detroit this morning to help promote the show this weekend. It appears that the Corvair owners are out in force, but we *really* know who has the most dangerous car....

The video from the Fox 2 Detroit Morning Show is now available. I'm the only Pinto in a sea of Corvairs.

That Leata Cabalero is a hoot!!! I didn't even know such a thing existed! They should make that the poster child for the Concours d'LeMons!
Dwayne :)
Chris,
Great meeting you at the Concours d'Lmons. Besides the bribes (which I did not know about and you clearly came prepared for), the only thing that kept me from winning the best Pinto/Vega/Pacer/Gremlin category was your awesome '76. I did not know 20+ year paint could look so good. Shiny is good. I have to find some of that McGuire Coarse Cut and Fine Cut you told me about to bring the shine back in my 40 year-old paint job.
I'll be at the one on Monterey, CA. This show is always insane. I normally go to Concorso Italiano and Pebble beach but I cannot get over how LeMons is always more crowded. Ill take pix. Should anyone go, I wont be in a Pinto. I am taking my 1984 Fiat Ritmo Cabrio, one of 2 in the US.
Keep it fresh, drive a Lemon.
I'm still waiting for the SoCal one... :-\
