I have some issues! Just wondering if anyone has a diagram of all the wonderful vacuum lines in a 1980 Pinto ...
Be nice to have the electrical too!
thank you!!!
What is the calibration label tag on the valve cover or on the timing belt cover ? It should also have the tune up guide on it....For 1980 there are about 10 different vacuum guides. A good reference is the Chilton's US Emissions Diagnosis's and service manual with vacuum circuits. Or check your local library in the reference section for the book or ebay..
Thank you DR! I think I will go to the library and see what I can find. The Pinto needs to be fixed before smog. Everyone seems to be at a loss about what to do for her!
1/2 the mechanics won't take her as a patient....... I think they should not have the words "Auto Repair" on their signs!!! It is misleading
Many of the original emission parts are no longer available.
Fail smog and come back and say what failed.................CO, HC, or NOx, that gives some direction to move in.
