Taking a chance of sounding stupid . But my question is I have a 78 wagon with a very tired v6.I am curious if a later model v 6 from a ranger or a mustang would work with a carb .There seems to be alot of them around .Any help would be really cool!

It will work, but i would recommend using your old flywheel. Plus you will need your original distributor.
