Hi people Im almost finishing shaving the rain gutters completly off of my ford pinto. Im hoping yall can help me out. I need measurements on how much the stock ford pinto weatherstripping sticks out above the very top of the door. The part right by the roof of the car. If it stick out at all if you dont understand please so so help! ???

Bump :P how much does the weatherstripping stick out of the door this way I know how much to bondo.
looks like mine sticks out about 1/4 inch all around my '74's window frame Chris. Hope this helps

O yea did you measure from the inside of the door up. Or the outside portion of the door up?
that's how much the rubber extends past the chrome trim on the window frame....might ask some of the guys with better trim too tho mine's pretty raggedy :-[

Ya mean the rubber is suppose to be sticking out from the door? I'd better call someone about some weatherstripping, REAL quick...
