I read through the threads and found 3 bits on getting a 302 into my Pinto. First use two LH Mounts from a 78 King Cobra. Second, use modified 4 cyl mounts. Three, use frame mounts and engine mounts from 78 V8 Mustang. I have found the frame mounts and engine mounts for a 78 Mustang with a 302. I'm hoping my search is over and I can get the engine in my car asap. Is am I right? Please advise.

Hi there Big Ed. While I'm not among the experts here on the V8 swap, I can sure steer ya in the right direction. Check out this FAQ. Even though I'm pretty sure you've read it, it's the best info from our best guys. http://www.fordpinto.com/smf/index.php?topic=1568.msg9713#msg9713
Cool! I had read that thread and found those part numbers and ordered them thanks to a nice parts guy who knew what microfiche is and knew how to work the national search system for oboslete parts. Should have the engine in by the weekend if Brown gets the stuff here on time. I know, "good luck." Nothing in this project has happened in just a weekend.
