Title: 2.3 turbo swap-saving the heater

everything I have read about these swaps say the heater goes. what could I do to save it?  Where did svowagon's web page go?

I've done two turbo swaps in Pinto's.Both of them have the original heater assembly's[none a/c].You just have to watch the clearance between the blower motor and the o2 sencer.It's very close.

Mine wouldn't go. You could also relocate the oxygen sensor in the down tube or have 40bob build you a tighter radius elbow or move to so. Cal.

i had the o2 sensor moved to the side of the elbow

It shouldn't be a difficult thing to relocate the O2 sensor? if that's ALL that holds up the install keeping the heater. it's a simple metric nut welded to the pipe.
