Are all Sprints white with blue stripes? Whats the deal here? How do you tell if you have a sprint? I have a 73 thats silvergreen with black stripes on it and it's OEM paint. I have the same paint job as the one that was on e-bay, just in silvergreen with black stripes. Iam not sure if it had the sprint stickers on it or not? The guy i got the car from had been doing some body work on it. Can you tell from the VIN number? Are there other models with strpes on them? Mine is two tone on the inside, black and white. Mine had a 2.0, auto trans and AC. Any Help?
Hello Lickety Split,
All sprint models were 1972 and they were all Red, White, and Blue.
Base Wimbeldon White W/ blue bottom and red stripe.
Your 73 was part of what they called the "Sports Accent Package."
I'd love to see a photo of your Pinto.
