Title: Motor Overhaul
Post by: From_Jonah on October 26, 2013, 11:40:41 PM
So I finally pulled the motor! It's taken me long enough to get around to it but I'm glad it's done. Now to start rebuilding.

I'm more than likely gonna build it like a ministock motor. I'm hoping for around 150hp at least with a better flowing head and a bigger cam, 4 barrel carb, full length header and all that good stuff. Anyone do a build of that sort for the street before?

Sounds like a cool deal, looking forward to the progress, if I find myself a car I may do the same thing..

What 4 bbl.?

You really need like a 390 cfm there, the standard smallest Holley will be way too big. If one could find a 350 cfm two barrel, those work well too.

I'm kind of thinking about going with a 2 barrel Weber instead now. Anyone had Much experience with the 32/36?
