Title: Steering linkage boots.
Post by: ponyboy on June 15, 2005, 11:41:02 PM
Does anybody know where I can find the black rubber boots that go on the steering linkage for a '73 wagon.I tried Checkers and Autozone, and they said they weren't available.I need to replace them because both mine are torn.Thanks.

I just got the new boots, and my Haynes manual says you are supposed to put oil in the rack and pinion assembly, but it doesn't say how,or what type of lubricant to use.Does anybody know? Thanks.
