I need to do a filter and fluid change on the Cruiser Wagon. What type of ATF does the C3 use, Dextron or Type F?

The c-3 uses F type trans fluid.

I almost forgot, you can look on the dip stick to see what Ford recommends you to use. Hope I could help Tim
