Are there any size differences between pre-75 pintos and later ones? Someone told me the early cars are smaller...
The early cars are lighter and alittle shorter due to smaller bumpers and less safety equipment. Also had less of other things and some new options were introduced later too. All this increased their weight. Ford listed the weight of my 72 2.0 4-Speed trunk Pinto at 1976 LBS I think they were up to 23-2400 LBS By the late 70s.
