Just an update to one of my earlier post "New upholstery". I went with these seat covers- "TMI Upholstery Front Buckets Vinyl Black High Back Coupe/Hatchback 1979-1980." They're not a perfect fit but didn't turn out too bad. They were $222 with shipping. Sure beats $400 per seat, that the local upholstery guy quoted.
This was the original style of seat. (still have this cover is anyone is interested)
The carpet came from StockInteriors.com for $125. Fits perfect.
That looks great considering they were made for a different seat. It really dresses things up.
They look really nice for a manufactured seat cover!
Dwayne :)
How was the install? They look good. 8)
The install wasn't bad. Took only a few hours. Only one "ribbing" didn't line up. I had to remove rust from the drivers side seat pan and I needed to buy a star socket to separate the upper back of the seats.
how did you get them for $222 with shipping? when i see them on there web site for $266 + shipping? do you have a different web site or did you call them to order? cause i would like to get some for my car.
thanks!!
I bought them thru CJ pony parts. {cjponyparts.com} Checked the site today and they are $249.
You might want to give them a call and ask for the $222.45 price.
thanks!
