Hey all, got some info on those rubber thingies on the end of the sunvisors...
As usual mine were old & cracked & while I was at the junkyard looking for a radio I got in an early to mid 1980's lincoln & it had them. They were real soft & flexible so I grabbed hem & put them on the Pinto. MUCH BETTER NOW!!!!
just thought I'd share my findings so those looking for that part can get it.
Thanks for the tip! Next mid 80's Lincoln that shows up in the local yard will donate replacments for electric tape I have been using.
Thanks again.
Robert
I used a vaccum cap works good
2 words :o plastic dip it works grate.
hey there, I have 4 NOS ones. They look brand new and if you keep them moist over the years they'll last a long time. Like me im sure you'll agree that when we "Armor All" the interior thats the last thing we would think of if we did at all. (not that I'm recommending armor all)
Don't know what there worth to anyone. I think I paid about 5 bucks a piece about 2 years ago ebay
If you like let me know your interested.
Thanks,Robert
The tips or the whole pin with tip are available from most Mustang II parts sources.
