Hi all I just recently bought what I thought was a driver pinto wagon guy told me it was a 2.3 but after looking closer at home it's a 2.0 ... Car is in decent shape but was lowered and not very drive able in LA ... I got new spring and raise the front know trying to raise the back.. I have know ran into a proble with the front brakes as the brake hose angle is bad and goes straight in to the upper spindle ... Any one have any idea for me to solve this issue thanks
I doubt it's just the springs that got changed, when the car was lowered......The prior owners might have changed the front spindles as well.....Also check to make sure you have the correct brake lines for your car, the parts guys can be idiots . Pictures would help...
(http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/03/26/ybepyveb.jpg) the springs on right were from a car at the junkyard and left are new from parts store
The changes that have been made in the springs is looking nice and according to me there would be some more changes.
Your new springs have 7.5 coils. Too many. Bet you cannot get them in.
M-ll springs are the same......and need to be cut down.
If cutting, use a zip blade & not a cutting torch.
It was little work but got them in ride hight perfect no problems
