Hi guys, we specialize in vintage Mustang parts but got this clock consolette as part of a buyout. Initially we thought it was a Maverick but I understand that they are different. All parts are stamped D12B which I understand is the engineering equivalent of D1FB (Pinto). I've attached a picture and was hoping one of you Pinto guys could confirm it as a Pinto console. Incidentally we have this up for auction on eBay (item# 251245073530) if you want to see more photos.
Thanks for your help,
Steve

Hey Steve, I've never seen one like that in a pinto, but most of the pintos in my area were stripped down, very few "loaded" ones. I bet Fred will know! Brent
There is a photo of it in the 1972 Pinto sales brochure (bad angle photo). I do not have a 1971 brochure to check.
Thanks for your help guys!
Steve
I saw that on eBay also and thought of bidding on it. Anyone know if any special wiring is needed under the dash?
Hey MustangMasters, is that clock still available?

It popped up on Ebay a couple weeks ago. Here's the link.

Cool.
I checked my '73 car owner manual. It doesn't include a clock as an accessory.
Was this an accessory for all years? And, where can I fet more info on it?

I believe it will fit your 73 but it is not correct for that year. I am not 100% sure but I believe the clock was a 71 only option as those are the only years I have seen them on.
