Title: I got a free 8 inch

I got free 8 inch rear and I got the tag off it, can anybody help identify it?
It reads: WDY-S    4JD
              3.00  8   246A

It looks to me like it came from a 1974 build date Mustang II.

thats cool!!! i also got a free 8" last sunday.... it was attached to the free 75 mustang cobra i got!!!!!!:D

lmao....nice..The free 8" I got will that be an easy swap into the 1979 pinto? What all is involved?

Identical to Pintos. The rubber isolators may be dry rotted & need replaced. I think CJ Pony parts has new isolators.

I had the supplier wrong. You need 4 of them.

it was a bolt in into my wagon and i also have one for my 78 runabout the wagon is a 1977 replace the u-bolts also the mount plates from a maverick or falcon. my u-bolts are for a jeep same thing just cheaper price they are grade 8.i run 4.62 gears in wagon with a 347 and it has never failed me in alot of racing
