Cruise control in a Pinto? Never knew that was an option.
I am exploring aftermarket options for cruse control now. Everything is electrical servo operated now, instead of vaccuum actuated.
I'm planning to go with an aftermarket kit myself. There are plenty to choose from.
My 76 Wagon I had from 98-05 also had the dealer installed cruise. And it worked! It was never a factory option.
I had one of these in two of my trucks for a few years and never had a problem and they are adjustable, pretty hard to beat I think..

I have a dakota digital unit I'm going to have installed.
Similar to the Rostra, should be a good unit.
