Title: 72 Oil sender wire ?
Post by: Reeves1 on January 05, 2013, 05:21:18 PM
White 72 car wires have been mucked with lots.
Took a picture of the blue 72 parts car. No engine came with it.
Red with white stripe wire for oil sender ?

According to a 72 wiring diagram, red with a white stripe wire was used for the engine warning light circuit.  So it goes from the dash bulb to the oil pressure and engine temperature switches.  My original harness is also too mucked up to tell.
