Title: shocks for a v8 swap
Post by: gearhead440 on June 01, 2005, 05:56:47 AM
When installing a v8 and utilizing the front M2 coil springs, which shocks would be a good choice for daily driving?  Also, what rear shocks would work best for the same daily driver?  Thanks much! ;D

I guess I'll reply to my own question  :D.  Advance Auto Parts lists the same front shocks for the 78 302 MII and the 80 Pinto: Monroe 20814 or Monroe 32118.  For the rear end, the 78 302 MII is Monroe 32191.  I'll be using a 9" rear so I'll have to measure and see if these will indeed work.  BTW, Advance also lists 78 302 MII front coil springs new for $70 a pair, P/N TRW CS8582 in case anyone was interested.Â
