all of my trim is oxidized. any ideas on the safest, quickest, easiest way to cleam it so I can get a coat of wax on it.
thanks
If you are referring to your 80, this trim was anodized from the factory. It is going to be hard to clean up and make look new without getting them reanodized. A buffing wheel with some polish will help some but as I said before, they will never look new unfortunately.
WOW!!!!! It looks like dried water spots..... the luggage rack system is cleanning up with never dul...the window and body trim is what I am having trouble with.
Mother's polish (but not too vigorous) then clean, mask, and clear coat the trim with semi-gloss rattle-can. That is about as good as you'll get. You can test what it will approximately look like by rubbing a little water on the trim first and looking before it dries.
