I found this pic in a members Knottsberry 2011 album.

Is it still owned by the guy who did the metalwork or did he finally sell it? I loved this car & bid on it when it was in primer on Ebay but didn't hit the reserve. I always wondered how much it sold for.
I had to account for an extra $1200+ needed to get it home plus purchase price so I did have my limit as far as my bottom line went or I may have ended up with it.
I'd love to see some more pics of it now that it's painted.
i remember that car on ebay was listed a couple of times near ohio area, needed to be finished looked like it was in rough primer at best, it would be cool to see it now!!!
the car was at knotts in 2012 also and the same gentleman/lady were with the car.
2011 . Fred :)
Nice 8) Thanks Fred. I really hope I get a chance to check that sucker out in person one day. I've never gotten past not buying it when I had the chance. I should have just overpaid for it & dealt with it.....
Keith did you get your strut rods ? I am sure you did because no complaint .
Man, that car is clean!!! I like the rear spoiler.

Oh yeah, already painted & installed on the '80. Thanks
The 2nd pair is for when I swap the '78 suspension into my '73. I didn't take the '78 apart yet but I anticipate those being just as eaten away. I'll maybe get to that one next fall.

I fell in love with that whale tail. If I was going to wide-body my '73 I'd put one on it for sure. All the flares & skirts on that car are steel. The guy who built that car had mad skills with metal.
