Title: pinto wagon -not 1975 just a 1974
Post by: tpk on July 03, 2012, 08:32:08 PM
Sorry about the original posting- this car is a 1974 2.0 not a 75.

Can someone help me make a decision. Ive located a 1975 pinto wagon 2.0 base car. Has 15k original miles and is in immac condition. What would be a good price and a fair price to offer the owner. He, the owner is not sure what to ask.

Car needs tires and lets just say all rubber parts to be replaced. Runs good and drives the original tires are dryrotted. The door seals are like new surprised. I would like to replace rubbers oil seals and time belt with new just for safety.

Thanks
TPK

Hmm,its rare.

A 75 wouldnt be a 2.0.
It would be a 2.3 unless someone
swapped it out.

Are you sure it's a 2.0? Double check, their is nothing wrong with the 2.0 EAO motor (Pinto to the rest of the Western World) and if it's real it can be fitted with the twin cam head......From Cosworth or any European Ford Sierra ......
