Hi All. I am trying to get a bunch of Pintos together for a cruise night. It is the Fort Community Cruise Night - Fort Atkinson, WI on June 19th 5:30-8:30pm. I hope to get at least ten Pintos there, so far I have Five!We will meet at a location away from the show and drive in together as a group.Ill give more details later when I know how many are coming. This is a great cruise night, parking in the grass with large shade trees. The food and drink are cheap. On a good night they can have over 300 cars.
durn... tuesday night and 430 miles away... grrrrrrrr.....
I feel your pain Brian! How does a September Stampede in the Wisconsin Dells area sound? I just got another comformation...up to SIX!
Dells, sounds good, Is Jim Madison involved in the planning for that? going to participate? I will be involved in what ever he has planned/involved with for September like last year.
Yes Jim is.He thought of having it in a different place this year. Its still in the planning stage.I talked to John from Chicago...looks like we have SEVEN !
you can count me in for September, will be one of my last "rides" of the year
I will be going to Ft. Atkinson with the Losers so save me a spot with the Pinto's. It's a saftey in numbers thing while driving out there.
mark
no problem Mark. I want to park near the Losers. I will get them a final car count as soon as I know. With you we are up to Nine cars...one more makes Ten!

You can go to a cruise night every weekday and many, many shows on the weekends LOL!! Sometimes you have to pick and choose which one to go to and (like tonight) go to two or three different ones on the same night

That's one less than we had at Carlisle this year. I should move there too!
Ok tomorrow night is Cruise night! Ill report how many and post pics after the show.
EIGHT PINTOS!! we had only two no shows. It was a GREAT night! 95 when I left home, but a nice breeze, grass and large shade trees, and good friends made for a very enjoyable evening .A special thanks to Jim Madison ,Doreen , Steve and Beth, who came from Rockford with three , and John who drove 140 miles each way from Chicago to come to the cruise night. Also attending were Tom and Lisa,Mark Goodnam and Mark from Fort.
I picked up a newspaper that had an article. Here is the text:
" CRUISE ON IT- Despite the 95-degree heat, more that 250 classic cars, tractors, trucks, motorcycles, and firetrucks made it out to Fort Atkinson's Cruise Night on Tuesday at Jones Park in Fort Atkinson. The firetrucks were a mojor hit,as there were six to view, including four from Fort Atkinson Fire Department and two vintage rigs from the Janesville area.A good crowd came out to check outthe firetrucks,as well as a line of 10 tractors , organized by the Klement family, and man other classic vehicles.Sever al of the classic cars came from as far away asPennsylvania and the Twin Cities and Delaware to take in the locar cruisenight on their way to this weekends "Back to the 50's" car show in the Twin Cities this weekend. Also a rare sight was a row of eight FORD PINTOS from as faw away as Chicago....... .............. ........
Shown below left Tuesday are the Ford Pinto club cars parked in a row.In the background are cars from the "Losers",a club from Milwaukee that routinely caravans with 12 to 25 classic cars.
