We had 11 members show up from seven states. Our "Long Hauler" was Dave From Oklahoma (sans his Pintos, but so was I)
The rest of the list reads like this :
Tommy & his Wife from South Carolina Who also won the Diamond in the Rough award for thier '80/76 Hybrid Turbo Hatch
Harley from Ohio, whose '80 Rallye won both Best Custom, and Best Engine.
Tony, his Wife & Son from Illinois who also won two awards Most Original, & People's Choice, Best all Around.
Scott, his Wife, Daughter, & Son, managed to take back to Alabama, Best Paint, & Best Interior.
All the owneres were winners, as Pintony Brought T-shirts & goodie bags.
The rest of the attendees were; Mike from Ohio Who rode with Wayne in his sweet custom '78 panel wagon. Dick from Ohio, who rode with Harley in his '80 Ralley. Jeff, & his Dad from Illinois came in thier nice '74 Squire wagon. Last but certainly not least Tony From Georgia, in his cool '80 Cruisin Wagon.
Later tonight I'll have a few "teaser" pics to post here for you guys who missed out. I hope everyone who attended had at least a good time, if not outright fun! I sure did have a great time meeting everyone, & hanging out. Mother nature had a few suprises in store for us & we had rain early saturday AM & late saturday evening. This morning (sunday) brought more rain, & most of the guys had left for home.
OH & by the way, western sizzlin's website SUX! LOL they had an address & phone #, but no dadgum restruant! So much for "Truth in Advertising"!
Also, we had a NICE red V8 Pinto from Rogersville, (State?)... Excellent Ride, nice V8 install, I wish he would have stayed around another day, anyone have any pictures of this car?
as well, (I was told) there was a gentelman from Canada show up on Friday night after I went to the hotel,
Did anyone get any shots of this great wagon (I heard)... Remember their name?
I would like to offer the same 'freebies' given out at the meet (those who know are sworn to secrecy) if they surface for attending,
Email me!
Yes, the red V8 '72 was from Rogersville TN that's like an hour away from P.F. He also showed up saturday at the Speedpark with an EXCELLENT Gapp & Roush replica. I also met a canadian gent in the lot @ the speedpark (ontario tags) with a SCREAMING yellow V8. Here's a pic of the Gapp & Roush replica. I missed the yellow canadian car though. (as well as the local red V8)

Did the yellow one have a black and white checked bottom on it along the rockers? If so i meet him a couple of years ago at the autofest here in town.....seems to me to have a stock mustang II engine (two barrel carb) and they were from Windsor Ontario or close to it.
It had ablack and yellow bottom and i beleave its is from Ontario.
