72 Pinto Wagon - Removed doors for rust fix and replaced them. Driver's door hinge worn out, shims fell out, sloppy up and down. (When you lift the door handle the door travels up 1/2 or so.) So do I look for a new hinge? Can I have the current hinge fixed? (Welded, Shimmed). Thanks, jt
you could replace the bronze bushing with with ones from a ford fox body mustang like i did. the pins you may need to search around for the right dia.
John let me check the yard I should have good . Fred :)
FRED - Let me know if you have a RH, Lower Door Hinge (serviceable -tight hinge) for 72. I'll pay reasonable price gladly. Thanks, JT
