well i thought i would go ahead and ask. I have been on this board for few days and you pepole got me wanting a pinto again.
I need help finding the perfect Pinto. I am in Oklahoma. What i am looking for is a 1977 Runabout with a full glass hatch 2.3 motor and auto tranny. If it were dark blue that would be the icing on the cake.
Trying to recpature my first car. My first car has since been recyled.
If anyone knows of a pinto in the OK,MO,KS, or AK area that fits that description for sale. Please let me know. My only other request is no Rust minimal damage like hail dents, dents and dings, No rust and must be running. I actually dont want a perfect car. A fixer upper would be perfect. I might settle for a 4 speed.
Saw one at the salvage yard today, ice blue. It was a little rough inside, but the body was in good shape. They have have around 7-8 runabouts, 3-4 wagons, and all sitting with the mustangII collection. I spent a couple of hours going through this "gold mine".

I think that you mean AR as in Arkansas, not AK as in Alaska. there arn't many runabouts up here in Alaska.
