Title: air cleaner assembly for 1980 2.3L Pinto engine

I am looking for an air cleaner assembly to bolt to the top of my carburetor. The opening on the top of the carburetor is a diamond shape with round corners, and there are two bolts on opposing corners.

Can anyone help me locate one? I am in Green Valley Arizona.

I don't have what you need but just thought I would give a heads up... for 79 and 80 stock carbs only the 79 and 80 original Ford Pinto air cleaner will work. The 78 and previous stock ford pinto air cleaners do not fit, based on my experience. I have installed new 80 carbs on a couple of my earlier Pintos and always had to find a 79/80 air cleaner.

some people have installed these on their Pinto's... I have no experience with them myself but maybe an option for you.

Early carb will fit under late air cleaner housing, but not vice versa.

I have an 80 for $30.00 + ship. Should not be much on ship because I will send from Parker AZ. Fred :)
