Title: 2" drop spindles
Post by: don33 on January 28, 2012, 11:49:46 AM
anybody have any pics of your car with 2" drop spindles. I am contemplating putting these on my car but was wondering how they look and what effect they would have on handling/drag racing ? my thoughts are although it may look good, it may not be a good thing on the track.

They will put your lower ball joint almost on the ground with 13" wheels. You can buy them all day long on E-bay.

If you are going to use headers you may want more clearance. Most go under the cross member & put them so close to the ground you will bang them.... I am going to bring mine up some.

No drop spindles for the BEAST.

Header and muffler clearance are already low.  Even with stiff shocks they scrape on suprise bumps.

wow, I should have known.  a 3.0 or 3.5" down pipe will have clearance issues I'm sure.  oh well.
