Can someone look at these pictures and tell me if this is a C3 or a C4 transmission.
Thanks,
John
c 3
Yup...C3.
Count the bolts on the pan, c3's have 13, c4's have 11.
C3. The left side servo protrudes more on the C3 than it does on the C4 where it looks like it's actually part of the case.
What had me confused was that I looked at the other one that is for sale in the classified section and noticed that mine was different. Again thanks for all of you keeping straight on this wonderful Pinto stuff. Trust me there will be allot more questions when I get home and tear into my new 72.
11 more days and the 72 will be home in his new stable. Power tour in Arlington, here we come!!
C4 modulator faces rearward,C3 out to the right,
If it is out C4 has 7 pump bolts,C3 has 8.
As stated the pan bolt count is different also.
MY C3 vacuum modulator has two vacuum outlets anyone know what the second vacuum outlet is for-what vacuum port should it be connected too?????
i have a c4 for sale cheap if anyone needs it
