Title: heater hose by pass

Has anyone had any experience with not using the heater by pass "H" on a 72 A/C car? ours has a lot of corroision  and is not usuable....have not been able to locate a good replacement.....any thoughts?

I'm wondering the same. My 73 has one that is getting bas and I work around it very carefully. I don't ave the qc components connected either. The pump is not connected to anything ane the condenser is my trans cooler roght now.

try to fond someone who can sweat (solder) copper pipes an have them make a "h" replacement

Hey Dave, do you have a pic of the "H" pipe? Couldn't be hard to make.
