Pinto Car Club of America

Well, Here we go again. I finished up on some honey-doos and have been able to get some time into my Pinto. Please allow me to introduce you all to ThunderPinto II The Wrath of Khan. I took ThunderPinto out into the drive the other day and washed it down. I wasn't going to but the insects in it were creating an eco system in my garage. Two an a half years of dirt and life. It was like cleaning the hull of a boat. But I got my washrag out of the shower and the bottle of dawn from under the sink and went at it. I also have been working on the powerplant and transmission. I cradled the engine and attatched the trans. I will be assembling my componants on this platform until the package is ready to slide in as a unit. I will be posting pictures of my progress as I go along. I am undoughtedly the envy of my street and by god wouldn't you know it a Maverick moved in just down the street. Life is good.
