That color would look great on a 64 Galaxie or 55 chevy.
It don't make it for a Pinto.

In all actuallity, that was the color I was shooting for on my dirt track car, but i ended up with easter egg color. Go go Mystery Inc.
ebay right?? saw one just like it on there.. If it's the same one, glad someone on here saved it.
If I bought a wagon it would have been done up in that color scheme, the reson being my dad owns a 1994 Ford Taurus wagon in the same color scheme as that Pinto... Woulda been a wierd thing to see a newer Ford wagon & an older Ford wagon side by side with the same colors.
Hi Pete! Is that the one that was on eBay from New Port Richey, Florida with the V6 that sold for $2000? That was a nice car and if I had been closer to it I was considering going after it. If it is the same car, are you going to put your turbo engine in it? If so, what are you going to do with the V6?
Yeah guys its the one from e-bay. It mustve been left outside because the body is a little dingged up. Its rust free and solid. Just what I was looking for. The seller said its been sitting for about ten years. I can tell it has been sitting. Theres light rust in the same place on the bottoms of all the rims. Im not sure it was for ten years though. The brakes had locked up on me and got real hot. Today I was driving it around and the brakes were fine. I think its still waking up. The engine runs a little better (has some lifter noise) and the turn signals blink at a steady rate now. The a/c needs a little charge. All the belts are cracked and dry.
I do plan on putting the turbo engine and 5 speed in it. Wont happen for a while. Im going to get the red wagon running first. Ill detail the green one, and get it ready for the swap. I am going to drive the green one as much as possible. I also plan on selling off the V6, trans and other misc. stuff I wont need.
Heres a few more pics and a video. http://imageevent.com/pandbz/78pintowagon
I shot a video of the height adjustable drivers seat. Ill post it later.
